This super simple Rudolph pine cone craft is perfect for Christmas! It’s so easy even preschoolers can make one.

I love holiday crafting with my kids, and this pine cone craft is going to be a hit with my grandson this month.

I can’t wait to take him on a walk this weekend to pick out the biggest pine cone we can find to make our Rudolph.

With just a few supplies you’ve probably got in your craft closet already, preschoolers and kindergarteners can whip up this reindeer craft in no time.

Rudolph Pine Cone Craft

You won’t believe how easy it is to make this adorable Christmas craft. In just a few minutes, you can have a super simple reindeer craft to display.

What You’ll Need

  • pine cone
  • 2 brown pipe cleaners
  • 2 googly eyes
  • red or black pom pom
  • brown construction paper
  • scissors
  • glue (I prefer white glue for this craft.)

What You’ll Do

Glue the pom pom nose on the point of the pine cone.

Glue the googly eyes toward the center of the pine cone.

Cut out a set of ears using the brown construction paper.

Cut one pipe cleaner in half, then cut two pieces from one half. Bend the uncut pipe cleaner in half to form a V shape.

Use these two smaller pieces to wrap around the top of the deer’s antlers. Twist until the pipe cleaner is secure.

Insert the V shaped pipe cleaner antlers from the bottom on the back side of the pine cone. Wrap it around at the top, twist, and spread out the pipe cleaner.

Add glue and insert the ears towards the back of the pine cone.

Display your deer! If desired, add a string to the pine cone and make an ornament for the Christmas tree!
