If you’re looking for a fun, interactive activity to add to your weather unit, check out this printable weather scavenger hunt for kids.
This one page, print-and-go scavenger hunt for kids is a great way to engage your children in a year round activity.
You can hang this scavenger hunt page on the wall, and mark off the weather findings throughout the year.

To prepare for the scavenger hunt, print one page for each child who will be participating. Gather pencils or crayons for each one.
If you’d like to make this reusable, you can laminate them and have kids use dry erase markers to mark their findings. This way, you can use them over and over again.
Weather Scavenger Hunt
Scavenger hunts are fun for children of all ages. Kids enjoy watching for various objects and crossing them off a list as they do.
This particular scavenger hunt is perfect for kids of all ages as it includes both words and picture prompts.
I suggest hanging this on a wall in your learning area and making a note of the start date of this challenge. Then, as kids check the weather each morning, they can mark off the first instance of each weather type.
Once they’ve experienced all nine weather forms, make a note of the date you mark the last one. How long did it take to experience all of them?
