Completing the Worksheets

Cut and paste worksheets are a great way for kids to learn the basics of reading, writing, and spelling. They can be used for a variety of purposes, from teaching new words to reinforcing concepts that have already been learned.

Cut and paste worksheets are especially popular in the autumn months, when kids are getting ready to go back to school. They can help kids review what they’ve learned over the summer and get them ready for the new school year. Plus, they’re just plain fun!

What’s Included?

This packet includes five cut and paste vocabulary pages. Each page includes a picture to color and an autumn word to read, trace, and write.

The five words featured in this pack include leaves, owl, apples, acorn, and pumpkin.

COLORING PAGES

There are plenty of benefits to using coloring pages, beyond the fact that they’re just plain fun.

For one thing, coloring can help to strengthen motor skills. This is especially beneficial for young children, who are still developing their fine motor skills.

Coloring pages can also help to improve hand-eye coordination.

HANDWRITING PRACTICE

As kids trace the words on the lines they practice proper letter formation. Writing each word on their own helps them with tracking as they transfer one letter at a time.

Finally, writing the letters in boxes helps children become familiar with proper letter size in relation to one another in a word.

FINE MOTOR FUN

Stamping the words on each page helps little ones strengthen motor skills as they grip each stamp, push it into the stamp pad, and then press it on the page.

Cutting and pasting the letters in the “build it” section of the page is another way to work on fine motor skills.

LETTER RECOGNITION

As kids transition from tracing the word to writing and stamping it, they’ll practice letter recognition. The same goes for choosing alphabet stamps and building the words with letter blocks.

it just looks prettier this way

Hello, Harvest MoonAwesome Autumn: All Kinds of Fall Facts and Fun (Season Facts and Fun)Fall Mixed Up (Carolrhoda Picture Books)

Hello, Harvest Moon – While tired farmers and their families are in bed, the harvest moon silently climbs into the sky and starts working its magic. For some, it is the nightly signal to rise and shine. It is time to hunt, to work, or to play in the shadows. For a little girl and her cat, it is an invitation to enjoy the wonders of the night and a last flood of light before the short days of winter set in.

Awesome Autumn – Autumn is awesome! Leaves change color. Animals fly south or get ready to hibernate. People harvest crops and dress up as scary creatures for Halloween. And then there are pickup football games to play, Thanksgiving foods to eat, leaf piles to jump in―all the amazing things that happen as the air turns crisp and cool.

Fall Mixed Up – Fall is all mixed up in this silly book from Bob Raczka! Can you find his mistakes in the words and pictures?
