Preparing for the Scavenger Hunt
If you’re looking for a fun and challenging activity to do with your kids, a scavenger hunt is the perfect option. But before you start, there are a few things you’ll need to do to get prepared.
First, print out a list of items that need to be found. Next, grab a clipboard and a pen so you can keep track of what’s been found. And finally, gather your family together to start the hunt!
With a little preparation, you’re sure to have a fun and memorable time.
Completing the Activity
This summer scavenger hunt includes two versions. The first page of this summer alphabet scavenger hunt shares a word for each letter of the alphabet.
The items on this list can be found around the home or around town. After finding all the items you can around the home, put the clipboard and scavenger hunt list in the car. Have kids search for the remaining items as you run errands around town or on your next road trip.
The second page of this alphabet scavenger hunt for summer shows all the letters of the alphabet but gives no suggestions for each one.
Kids can get creative as they search the home and the neighborhood for an item that begins with each letter of the alphabet.
