PREPARING THE ACTIVITY

Fill out the form at the bottom of this post to get the free worksheets for your little ones.

Then, download and print your desired pages.

COMPLETING THE ACTIVITY

Each of the five worksheets is formatted the same way. Once your child is familiar with how to complete the first one, they can complete the other worksheets the same way.

Instruct your student to cut out the boxes at the bottom of the page. Then, have them manipulate the cut outs to put the words in order to form a complete sentence.

You can give them a hint about sentences beginning with capital letters and ending with punctuation marks, if necessary.

Once they have formed a sentence, have them read the sentence aloud to make sure it makes sense.

Then, have them glue the words in the correct order in the boxes at the top of the page.

Finally, have your student write the sentence on the lines. Encourage them to use their best handwriting.

This is a great way to help kids practice their grammar skills while also getting them excited about writing. And with a Halloween theme, they’ll have even more fun!
