Teaching ABC Order
Teaching alphabetical order is an important skill for students to learn. As kids grow academically, they’ll be asked to arrange names and/or terms in the same order as the letters of the alphabet.
This set of worksheets is a great place to start when looking for resources to reinforce this skill.
What’s Included?
This worksheet packet includes ten unique printables. Each page features a large Halloween picture for students to color as well as eight words to alphabetize.
Completing the Worksheets
After coloring the Halloween picture on each page, kids will cut off the words on the right side of the page.
Have them alphabetize the words BEFORE gluing them down on the page. If necessary, let your kids sing the alphabet quietly as they order the words or use an alphabet strip.
If you’d like, you can have them turn the page over and use as many of the words in a sentence.
