A beach scavenger hunt is the perfect adventure for your next trip to the shore. Can your family find all the items on the list?

There is so much to see when you’re at the beach. Print out this scavenger hunt idea, and see if your kids can find all of the items on the list during your next trip to the beach.

To prepare for this scavenger hunt, print out one page for each child who will participate. Then, gather pens or crayons for each one.

If you’d like this page to be reusable, you can laminate it and use dry erase markers to mark off your findings. This way, you can use them over and over again.

Beach Scavenger Hunt

One fun thing about scavenger hunts is that they can be done individually or in groups. Siblings can pair up and compete as teams, or they can work individually and race against each other.

Beach Scavenger Hunt Clues

This scavenger hunt is designed for use at the beach. You can use this during a beach vacation or on a day trip to your local shore.

Your family should be able to find most of these objects during one trip. However, you may have trouble finding a few such as a palm tree or lifeguard.

Before you head to the beach, you could divvy up the list amongst all your children. Give preschoolers and toddlers 1-2 items at a time to search for. Young readers can read through the list and see what they can find.
